MOVEMENT DIRECTION
SHAPING PRESENCE AND EMBODYING STORIES FOR STAGE PERFORMERS, DANCERS AND ACTORS
Movement is one of the most powerful storytelling tools we have. Long before a character speaks, the audience already reads posture, rhythm, tension, confidence, vulnerability, status, and intention through the body.
My work as a Movement Director and Movement Coach is dedicated to making these physical layers visible and authentic.
Whether for film, television, stage productions, immersive performances, fashion events, or live shows, I help performers develop a physical language that supports the story and strengthens their presence. Sometimes this means creating choreography or movement sequences. Often it is about something more subtle: how a character walks into a room, how they occupy space, how they relate to others, or how a single gesture can reveal an entire emotional landscape.
Years of experience as a choreographer, performer, and director have given me a deep understanding of movement as communication. Combined with my knowledge of camera work, staging, and visual composition, I create movement that not only feels authentic but also translates effectively to the audience—whether viewed from the front row or through the lens of a camera.
The process requires trust, sensitivity, and a genuine connection with the performer. Every body tells a different story. My task is not to impose movement but to uncover the physical language that already exists within the person and refine it into something clear, expressive, and compelling.
I work with actors, dancers, musicians, models, presenters, and non-professional performers alike. From partner dance to expressive solo performance, from highly stylized movement to naturalistic character work, I adapt my approach to the needs of each production.
Because movement is never only movement. It is character. It is atmosphere. It is emotion. It is the invisible layer that makes an audience believe what they see.
